Happy New Year! Month To Month has just been accepted to the NYC Downtown Feature Film Festival which runs from February 18 - 25, 2012. Month To Month will screen at DMAC-Duo Multicultural Arts Center, Thursday February 23rd at 8pm. The NYC Downtown Short Film Festival has screened high caliber films and eventual Oscar winners such as last year's, God of Love, and we're excited to be a part of their sister series.

The day that will live in infamy. Month To Month had a sneak preview at Anthology Film Archives as part of their NewFilmmakers series. It was a packed house with an enthusiastic audience. Pictures of the event can be viewed on our Facebook page.

Month To Month screened Friday morning as a part of the Red Rock Film Festival (2010 Movie Maker Magazine 20 Worth the Fee) to a bright eyed and bushy tailed audience. Producer Chad Nicholson was in attendance.

Month To Month has been accepted into the Red Film Market at the Red Rock Film Festival. Our film will screen for industry and press only on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the St. Georges Art Center in St. George, Utah.

The new cut of Month To Month will have a NY sneak preview screening at Anthology Film Archives, one of the leading theaters in New York City, as part of the NewFilmmakers Series on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 9:30pm.

Month To Month has a number of film festival submissions pending, but we presumably won't hear anything until mid-August at the earliest. Fingers crossed!

Month To Month has not had its world premiere yet, but we have won an award! The Indie Fest has given Month To Month a feature film Award of Merit. The Indie Fest is an international awards competition that honors professionals, established and emerging, who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity.

A finished version of the film is now ready! I've heard that a film is never "done" until you premiere, but this feels final. All sound and color kinks are ironed out, and roughly 6 and a 1/2 minutes have been trimmed from the first act of the film. The current run-time is now 1 hour, 32 minutes. More news soon!

Sound and color are mostly finished, there are still a few areas that need tweaking. A rough cut is ready to submit. The current run-time is 1 hour, 39 minutes.

Picture lock! The final edit of Month To Month is locked. It's off to color and sound and then festival submissions.

Month To Month has wrapped principle photography at dawn this morning. Filming was completed on schedule in an incredible 12 days. Thanks to all of the unbelievably dedicated cast and crew that made this happen.

Kathryn Blacker Temple has joined M2M as Production Manager. Kathryn has worked on numerous films and television shows in both production and production management. Her credits include, AWAKE, SHERRY BABY, LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN, TRANSAMERICA, UGLY BETTY, and CHAPPELLE'S SHOW amongst others.

Kristine Bulakowski is assisting M2M as Casting Director. She has worked in the casting department for such films and television series as RESCUE ME, BIRTH, KATE & LEOPOLD, THE YARDS, and GIRLFIGHT, amongst others. She has been the casting director on several independent features, including FORTUNES, STAND BY, and WHAT ALICE FOUND (Special Jury Award, Sundance, 2003).

Gus Sacks has joined the M2M team as director of photography. His most recent narrative works include, ICE GRILL USA, PASSING STRANGERS, and LOWER PROVIDENCE, among others. Films he has lensed have been shown at festivals nationally and internationally. Gus resides in New York City and is represented by The Right Eye Agency.

Anne Gill has come on-board as associate producer for MONTH TO MONTH. Anne has produced in the UK, Ireland, and the US. Producing credits include DEALERS CHOICE at Trinity College Dublin Players Society, RIPPED at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2004, and the UK premier of THE HIGHWAY CROSSING with StageSpell Theatre Company in London.

Chad Nicholson has signed on as producer for MONTH TO MONTH. Chad served as unit manager on such films as SHERRYBABY and TRANSAMERICA. Most recently, he produced the feature length film, UPSTATE, and the original web series, VALLEY HEAT.
